Dove- Summer glow + soft shimmer (Medium to Dark skin) Review/Demo 

I have very fair skin that doesn't tan, so I thought this would be perfect for me as I am reluctant in using normal fake tan. This is a lotion with gradual self-tanner in it, and promises to build a ‘beautiful summer tan’. I am very impressed with the outcome of the product.

The dove summer glow has a fruity smell which most people like, however I also think it has a chemically smell. It is a clear lotion, and the colour of the tan cannot be seen as it is gradual, so care is needed when applying to make sure all areas are covered. The lotion absorbs into the skin fast, and once dry it will not transfer onto clothes or sheets, it is also very moisturizing. I have noticed that there is a lot of sparkle/ glitter on my skin when I have applied it, but this is only noticeable in the light 

Although I have very fair skin I picked up the one for medium to dark skin (not purposefully), however it works nicely and gives a nice colour. The photo shows my skin before and after having applied the product for 3 days.

Overall I am extremely pleased with the Dove summer glow and would recommend it for an array of skin tones for light to medium/dark. It retails for £4.99 at stores such as Superdrug, boots or supermarket and can be found online.

Kiko Eye shadow Review/ Swatches

I first found out about Kiko through my cousin who lives in Italy, she took my into the store and I fell in love. The array of colour and the way products were put on show was neat and the packaging was professional. From this, I though the products would be expensive, however they are fairly affordable. I later found out that there are Kiko stores in the uk, one at both Westfields; these are the only ones to my knowledge. These are described as 'highly pigmented eye shadows', and I agree with this statement for most of the eye shadows, some are less pigmented than others, however over all I like them a lot. There are names for the eye shadows on the website but not on the actual product. Instead there is a number which can be found along with the name on the website.

In the picture, I have applied the eye-shadow to the back of my hand with no primer or base, the photo has also been taken with a flash. In my opinion, these have good staying power and they do not crease. So overall, these are beautiful eye-shadows and I will defiantly be purchasing more and I recommend them.
